Healing Internalized Racial Oppression
REAL leads with healing-centered approaches to racial equity and social justice. Our work recognizes intersectionality and historic, intergenerational, and current traumas on individuals and the collective whole. Our team also has experience in establishing organization-wide racial affinity groups, helping develop data-driven strategic plans around racial equity, examining how policies and procedures can act as both barriers and facilitators of equity, and facilitating racial healing circles to work through harms and traumas in the workplace. We look forward to bringing our collective wisdom and experience to bear in helping your organization achieve its racial equity and social justice goals.

REAL's approach encourages participants to deepen their understanding of why centering people with lived expertise is such an asset to their organization. We teach and review best practices on how to do this work in an inclusive manner and work towards eliminating racial and social disparities across programmatic and policy outcomes once and for all.
